The economic crisis we are facing represents an opportunity for rebranding the European project and its member countries. A New Europe may emerge and it will be significantly different from the one we have today. This difference will be translated in added value and a stronger brand. For countries such as Romania, the opportunity for rebranding itself in the context of the European Project is extremely important. Romania can use its geographic and geo-strategic position to rebrand itself in the “unifying bridge” between Eastern and Central Europe. Romania can also become the sliding door between Europe and Eurasia. A recent study shows that if the correct decisions are taken regarding logistics and infrastructure, Romania can grow its GDP with 25 billion Euro by 2025 and can create 175,000 new jobs, in this sector alone.
